A Twin Peaks evening is what started Cabaret Voltaire Societe & Diversions in 2016. It was the first ‘Ready Made’ event we ever hosted and has since remained a classic CVSD annual event!

This year’s Twin Peaks Evening is a special one because it is our fifth annual and first in person event POST COVID 19.

 

On February 24th, the death of Laura Palmer will be a catalyst to all those that enter Victoria’s very own Black Lodge: THE VICTORIA EVENT CENTRE

Be sure to dress up as your favourite Twin Peaks character because there will be a Photo Booth (by donation) as well as Bob will be in charge of the Bob’s Babes Beauty Contest, who promises to ‘catch you with his death bag’, based on the costume Bob likes most.

A Twin Peaks Evening With Be Featuring

  • Hush Hush Noise as SONGS FROM THE BLACK LODGE

    Hush Hush Noise is an experimental pop duo from Victoria BC featuring multi instrumentalists/vocalists Lily Fawn and Eric Hogg. Their intricate arrangements combine organic sounds with electronics to create memorable songs that range from hypnotic lullabies to nightmarish psychedelia.

  • EVIL!

    Featuring members of ; Victory to Vinyl winners / Zone Band of the Month / basically jus deviant ‘ Teenage Violets’. A rock trio dripping with sex, reverb, fuzz and David

  • Casey Ryder as Easy Ryder

    Easy Ryder is a show bizzer who sings, plays instruments and writes songs. He performs solo and in bands; Dixie’s Death Pool, The Swingin’ Bachelors, Ken Lavigne, Bill Johnson, etc. He’ll be crooning, playing guitar and upright bass for you this week! Limited spots available! Don't miss out!

  • Florence Fatale as LAURA PALMER

    Sweat drips and hair flips – The Saltiest Siren of the West Coast started teasing and titillating audiences in 2013 and now calls the stage a second home. Florence Fatale is the host and co-producer of Smut Slam Victoria and co-founder of decentralized strip/dance club, Teasers and Pleasers. She is a jewel of many in the crown of Ruby Entertainments and is a proud art stripper, feminist and slut.

  • Paper Street Theatre as BLACK LODGE PERFOREMERS

    Paper Street Theatre: Under the direction of improviser and storyteller Dave Morris, Live improvisation that feels like theatre. Performance with no script, the ensemble sets out to change what people often perceive improvisation to be. Some of what we do may be comedy, but first it will be theatre.

  • The Fiji Mermaid as CABARET COMMÈRE

    Your evening's Host is a peculiar sea creature that has shed her sea legs to join the landlubbers in a mutual love of David Lynch and Twin Peaks, the only time you can catch this money-fish is every Wednesday 3-5pm on the CFUV 101.9FM airwaves.

  • Emily deKorte as THE LOG LADY

    Emily deKorte was born and raised in Twin Peaks, and is a self-proclaimed Libra. Most at home in the woods, she teaches Fire Prevention and ballroom dancing, while also interpreting messages from her Log to members of the community. In fact, it was her Log's idea she come to enjoy the lush forests of Vancouver Island. Perhaps her Log has a message for you. Favourite things: Bear Claws, pitch gum, and long walks in the woods with her Log

  • David Schwab as THE WOODSMAN

    Founder of Quadratic Sound and horn player in the Blackwood Kings. The Woodsman, will be looking for a light all night.

  • Daisy Scorsese as AUDREY HORNE

    A secret performer of the Victoria Events Center who will impress and surprise all as Audrey Horne daughter of wealthy businessman Benjamin Horne. If the most dreamy music plays, she loves to dance.
