Helsinki Liaison Kati Rausch
Kati Rausch is an award-winning actress, stand-up comedian and writer from Germany. She is now based in Los Angeles, California, and Helsinki, Finland. Her acting credits include movies and TV shows in 5 countries (USA, Germany, Finland, Norway and Switzerland). She started her stand-up career in Germany at the age of 16, where she toured nation-wide with her solo show 'Rauschzustand', and as a member of the music comedy group 'Kabarett der Literarischen Gewalttätigkeiten' (Cabaret of literary violence) of the dada artist UrDrü Ulrich Reineking.
Her credits as a screenwriter include the webseries' 'Good to Know', that reached over a million views on YouTube. Her first US short film 'Our Song', that she wrote, produced and starred in, entered the festival circuit in July 2020 and already won two awards for Best Comedy Short at the 'Atlanta Award-Qualifying Film Festival' and the 'Austria International Film Festival'.
Kati loves cats and heavy metal, and is an accomplished music TV host. She hosted the prime time music show 'Metronomi' on Finnish TV. Since 2012, she is the host for the web TV channel 'Music Interview Corner', presenting funny interviews with international bands and artists.
